Who we are

SolidScope ("we," "us," or "our") is a service quote calculator for small service businesses, operated by Fifth Axis Labs, based in California. You can reach us at support@solidscope.app.

What we collect — and what we don't

We are deliberate about minimizing data collection. Here is exactly what we collect and why:

Email address

When you sign in, we collect your email address. We use it solely to identify your account and send you magic link sign-in emails. We do not sell it, share it with third parties for marketing, or use it to send you unsolicited email.

Subscription status

If you subscribe to a Pro plan, we store whether your subscription is active. This is used only to determine whether to grant you unlimited proposals.

Quote and job data

We do not store your quotes, client names, job addresses, or any other data you enter into the calculator. All quote data lives in your browser and in the URL — it never touches our servers. When you close the tab, it's gone unless you saved the link.

Payment information

We do not handle or store payment card information. All payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. Stripe's privacy policy is available at stripe.com/privacy.

Analytics

We do not currently use any analytics or tracking tools. We may add privacy-respecting analytics in the future (such as aggregate page view counts with no personal data attached). If we do, this policy will be updated before any tracking begins.

Cookies and local storage

We use browser local storage to remember your dark/light mode preference and to maintain your sign-in session. We do not use third-party tracking cookies.

How we use your information

To send you sign-in links when you request them
To determine your subscription status and proposal quota
To process payments through Stripe
To respond to support requests you send us

We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond operating the service.

Who we share data with

We share minimal data with the following services to operate SolidScope:

Supabase — authentication and database hosting. Your email and subscription status are stored on Supabase infrastructure. Supabase privacy policy.
Stripe — payment processing. Stripe receives your email and payment information when you subscribe. Stripe privacy policy.
Resend — transactional email delivery (magic links). Your email address is passed to Resend to deliver sign-in emails. Resend privacy policy.
Cloudflare — hosting and infrastructure. Cloudflare processes network traffic to deliver the site. Cloudflare privacy policy.

We do not sell your data to anyone, ever.

Your rights (California residents — CCPA)

As a California resident, you have the right to:

Know what personal information we collect and how we use it (this policy covers that)
Delete your personal information — email us at support@solidscope.app and we will delete your account and all associated data within 30 days
Opt out of sale — we do not sell personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of
Non-discrimination — we will not treat you differently for exercising any of these rights

Data retention

We retain your email address and subscription status for as long as your account is active. If you request deletion, we remove all your data within 30 days. Stripe may retain payment records as required by law and their own policies.

Children's privacy

SolidScope is intended for business owners and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of SolidScope after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
