Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of SolidScope ("Service"), operated by Fifth Axis Labs ("we," "us," or "our"), a California business. By using SolidScope you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

What SolidScope is

SolidScope is a service quote calculator that helps small service businesses estimate job costs and generate formatted proposals. It is a productivity tool — not a substitute for professional accounting, legal, or business advice. The numbers SolidScope produces are estimates based on the inputs you provide. We are not responsible for pricing decisions you make using the tool.

Your account

You sign in using a magic link sent to your email address. You are responsible for keeping access to your email account secure. You may not share your account with others or use the Service on behalf of someone else without their authorization.

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into contracts to use SolidScope.

Free tier

The calculator is free to use without an account. The first 3 formatted proposals are free with no credit card required. Once you have used your free proposals, generating additional proposals requires a Pro subscription.

Pro subscription

Pro plans are billed in advance — monthly or annually — via Stripe. By subscribing you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

Prices are listed in US dollars and may change with 30 days notice. Price changes will not affect your current billing period.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings or by emailing support@solidscope.app. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You retain Pro access until then.

Refunds

If you are not satisfied with your Pro subscription, contact us within 7 days of your initial purchase and we will issue a full refund, no questions asked. After 7 days, payments are non-refundable. Renewal charges are non-refundable.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or copy the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
  • Circumvent the proposal quota or subscription system
  • Use automated tools to access the Service at scale

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Your data

Quote and job data you enter into the calculator is never stored on our servers — it stays in your browser. See our Privacy Policy for full details on what we do and don't collect.

Intellectual property

SolidScope, its design, code, and content are owned by Fifth Axis Labs. You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works without written permission. You retain ownership of any data you enter into the tool.

Disclaimer of warranties

SolidScope is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the cost estimates it produces will be accurate for your specific business situation. Use your own judgment.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fifth Axis Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of SolidScope — including but not limited to lost profits resulting from pricing decisions made using the tool. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of California.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the date at the top of this page when we do. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
